Deceber 4th 2009 - LAS VEGAS, NV -- Recording artist Vanessa-Mae performs during the opening night gala for Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas at CityCenter December 4, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The 47-story nongaming luxury hotel and condominium tower is the third part of the 67-acre, USD 8.5 billion mixed-use urban development center to open. The joint project between MGM Mirage and Dubai World is said to be the biggest privately financed construction project in United States history and one of the world's largest green projects being built with the Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certified Green Building Rating System.

FACING HISTORY AND OURSELVES CHARITY EVENT

New York, NY -- Nearly 100 attendees gathered for a private cocktail event at the Vivienne Tam Boutique on Tuesday, December 15th.

The event was hosted by Facing History and Ourselves-- an international educational and professional development organization whose mission is to engage students of diverse backgrounds in an examination of racism, prejudice, and antisemitism in order to promote the development of a more humane and informed citizenry.

The night consisted of shopping, awareness, shared words, as well as shopping to benefit the cause and a raffle! Winnder received a signature Vivienne Tam leather cloud quilted clutch.
